Important update - January 2024
Please note that with immediate effect, I have decided to retire. I will not be accepting translation work of any nature.
Please also be aware that this website and the e-mail addresses associated with it will disappear at some uncertain point later this year.
I’ve enjoyed my translation work for many years, but now reaching the age of 70 with some minor health problems I’ve decided it’s time to move on to an active retirement and follow my many other interests.
I was an early adopter of Translation Memory (TM) software, but I’m not sure that I wish to follow the same course as AI translation systems introduce the next wave of change to hit our industry.
Please feel free to browse the website while it remains.

So now, I shall be making music on my concertina, dancing with the Morris, cycling around the local area, working in our large garden and trying to make up for Covid-lost time on travels abroad. And in between, travelling to much more distant lands in the company of Lois McMaster Bujold, Iain M Banks, Orson Scott Card and other explorers of the unknowable.
